Katie Hopkins will not be returning to Big Brother VIP in the next season after allegedly confessing to breaking quarantine regulations.
The 46-year-old had traveled to Sydney, Australia, earlier in the week for the reality show’s premiere episode and was promptly quarantined in a government-mandated hotel for two weeks.
Hopkins, on the other hand, posted a now-deleted Instagram and YouTube video in which she referred to the Covid-19 lockdowns as the “biggest hoax in human history” and claimed she was violating quarantine regulations by refusing to wear a mask in the Sydney hotel.
Hopkins has been dropped from the upcoming Big Brother VIP lineup, according to Seven Network executives.
‘Seven Network and Endemol Shine Australia announce that Katie Hopkins will not be a part of Big Brother VIP,’ they stated in a statement.
‘Seven and Endemol Shine strongly condemn her careless and reckless remarks while in hotel quarantine.’
Hopkins’ actions were also criticized by Australian lawmakers, including immigration minister Alex Hawke, who stated the border force had started an inquiry.

‘With NSW and Victoria under lockdown, a reminder that temporary visa holders must follow public health directives,’ he said on Twitter.
‘The Australian Border Force is looking into this. Individuals who violate visa restrictions may have their visas revoked in line with the law.’
‘The NSW Police Force is working closely with the Australian Border Force to determine if the visa to enter Australia given to a 46-year-old lady from the United Kingdom remains legitimate,’ said a spokesperson for the NSW Police Force, according to the PA news agency.
‘If it is judged necessary, the NSW Police Force will help with any operational needs to assist the lady in returning to her country of origin.’
Hopkins joked in her deleted video that she was opening her hotel room door nude, adding, “The police officer who checked me in informed me that when they knock on my door, I have to wait 30 seconds before I can open the door [to receive meals].” Then I can unlock the door, but only if I hide my face under a mask.
‘I’m going to scare the s*** out of them and I’m going to do it without a face mask.’ I want the sergeant in the foyer to come up to me and scold me, so I can stand there nude while he does it.’
‘You are living through the biggest deception in human history, and they are attempting to steal everything from you, and one of the strongest and most effective weapons we have is a sense of humour, and someone like me is probably a huge thorn in their sides,’ she said.
‘Before you ask how I got here, you should know that I have always called lockdown the biggest farce in human history – I have never subscribed to it,’ the former Apprentice star stated in a previous video, which is still accessible on her Instagram page. So, when it comes to hypocrisy, I see it in politicians who lock people up, but I’ve never advocated for it.’

‘Did you get in because you’re a journalist?’ a follower inquired. Hopkins said, ‘Yup. We have relatives urgently wanting to come over to visit family.’ It’s a dreadful situation. Families that are yearning to be reunited. Please don’t make the mistake of thinking I’d give up my spot for one of them [sic].’
Many people were angry that far-right pundit Hopkins, who had been permanently banned from Twitter for vile behavior, was permitted to enter Australia while his family and friends were prevented to return home.
